Invisible Realities

Invisible Realities explores the relationship between Autism and how it presents in women, a topic which isn't represented at all in mainstream media and when it is, is stereotypical and incorrect. When it comes to autistic women, the various struggles, behaviors and interests that we experience are misrepresented and stereotypically based on autistic men, in all photography and mainstream media. This body of work captures how autistic women present differently as individuals, as an aim to educate and fight against misinformation. A topic I'm passionate about as an autistic woman myself.
